About me...Richard McNab B.Sc (Geography)
After finishing School and University I embarked upon employment in various office environments. After realising my future lay outdoors, I up-skilled and made a move into the Department of Conservation. This gave me a taste of the outdoors and I eventually ended up as a Ranger in Arthur's Pass. Working for DoC gave me an introduction to lawn mowing / gardening and led me to a position at CityCare as the ornamental mower for Christchurch. In this role I was responsible for all high value sites across the city such as the Earthquake memorial at Avonhead Cemetery and central city sites such as Victoria Square. I still enjoy the outdoors, being a keen runner / kayaker and I spend a lot of my spare time in the bush or doing volunteer trapping with the Arthur's Pass Wildlife Trust. |
